A contattare il Napoli è stato il Lipsia che ha fatto recapitare negli uffici di Castelvolturno un'offerta di 30 milioni di euro per il centrocampista macedone. De Laurentiis ha rispedito al mittente la proposta, anche se il calciatore al momento non è intenzionato a rinnovare il contratto che lo lega al Napoli fino al 2025. Elmas resta in azzurro, ma i dubbi sul futuro non si diradano.

RB Leipzig have agreed a deal worth €25million (£21.5m, $27.4m) for Napoli midfielder Eljif Elmas.
Elmas, 24, has also agreed personal terms with Leipzig on a contract until the summer of 2028. He is expected to travel and complete the deal ahead of the January transfer window.
Sources with knowledge of the deal, who spoke on the condition of anonymity as they were not authorised to discuss matters, believe talks were held over an initial €24m paid upfront with €1m in potential add-ons.
Leipzig are keen to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window and they had been one of several clubs tracking Granada winger Bryan Zaragoza, who has since agreed a deal to join Bayern Munich.

Nachdem das mit Bryan Zaragoza nicht funktioniert hat will man jetzt einen ganz anderen Spielertyp wie Elmas? Bin verwirrt...
Andererseits könnte dies eher ein Ersatz für Carvalho sein, sollte dieser im Winter zu Liverpool zurückkehren, dann bräuchte man einen weiteren Spieler mit Zaragoza-Eigenschaften.

Elmas Vorteil ist, dass er im Mittelfeld fast jede Position bekleiden kann. Zudem im super Alter, trotzdem bereits erfahren und ein Mentalitätsspieler. Wenn es so stimmen sollte, Glückwunsch an RB

Kann jemand was zu dem Spieler sagen ? Hier wird er ja als "ZM" benannt, da hätten wir aber eigentlich gar keinen Bedarf. Nach Forsbergs Abgang klemmt es da eher weiter vorn.

Zumindest von den Heatmaps auf Sofascore her spielt er weiter vorne als ein Haidara -- so in etwa auf Xavi Simons' Höhe - nur sehr Flügellastig.

Wäre tatsächlich auch mal gespannt, eine etwas ausführlichere Beschreibung zu ihm zu hören.
Ich weiß, dass er DER Star in der Nationalmannschaft ist und bei Neapel der erste Einwechselspieler. Aber wie sieht es mit Schnelligkeit, Dribbling, etc. aus?
Technisch soll er ja sehr gut sein.
